In recent years, the Henderson Ice Arena was operational for only 8 months a year during the fall, winter, and spring seasons.  The arena was not in use during the warm summer months.  However, this year Culver decided to use the arena year-round, which created a new issue that had to be addressed. An inspection was completed by The Insulation Guys, LLC where they discovered there was inadequate insulation coverage in the rink's attic as well as the attic being vented to the outside. During the summer months, this led to a problematic mixing of hot air entering the attic from the outside with the colder, conditioned air from the rink below creating condensation problems within the arena.
